Overall I was pretty happy with this costume. It arrived quickly and well packaged. It was pretty much as advertised. The quality of the costume overall seemed pretty good, which I would assume it would be given the $40+ price tag. However, there were some disappointments. There was a spot where the stitching missed joining two panels together leaving a 1-2″ long opening right in the middle of the chest which clearly should have been caught. I had to cut open the lining and hand stitch a repair. Also several of the snaps came apart after the first fastening. Again, I was able to re-crimp them with a pair of pliers. Finally, the bottom of the zipper didn’t have a plastic base but just a simple piece of thread holding the two sides together. This stitch broke and the zipper started separating from the base. Again about 20 minutes to fix.

All this after the first trial fitting that only lasted about 5 minutes.

Once I performed all the above repairs, I was quite happy with the costume. It held up all Halloween eve and the “feet” have become a favorite slipper substitute.

My Daughter loved this costume. It is really adorable. She would wear it everyday if we let her. I actually had to hide it from her. The only complaint is that the crinoline slip is very itchy and gets snagged on the velcro closure in the back and the velcro closures should have been a zipper or buttons – it also scratched the back of my daughter’s neck since the collar sits so high. They should have also not put sequins in the inside part of the collar – very scratchy for soft two year old necks. But overall, a great buy. Fast delivery from Ruby’s Costumes/Amazon as well – I think I got it the next day, even with free super saver shipping! The little sparkly ribbons it came with were a nice touch also. My daugher absolutely loved being Dorothy this year for Halloween.

This is an AWESOME costume! My 2 year old loved it. He didn’t want to take it off – even after Halloween! We added a sword and eye patch and he looked adorable!

This is so cute! The hood is separate from the main suit and the feet are like slippers and easy to get on and off. My 7 month old didn’t mind the hood at all. Both the suit and the hood are lined with a satin like cloth that makes it very comfortable and easy to put on and off. It also opens at the crotch like a onesy so it is possible to change a diaper without too much trouble!

I love how there is no mask and how the manufacturer obviously put some thought into safety, comfort, and ease for the parent!
